إِنَّا لِلَّـهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Innā li-llāhi wa innā ilayhi rājiʿūn
Verily, we belong to Allah, and verily, to Him do we return [2:156].
Our beloved Firdows embodied kindness and love in all that she did. Her loss has deeply affected us and reminded us of the fleeting nature of this dunya. May we strive to live righteously so that we may be granted Jannatul Firdows and reunited with her in the Firdows.
One of the most meaningful ways to continue earning reward after one’s passing is through Sadaqah Jariyah. In her honoured memory, we are raising funds to construct a grade 9 classroom in Wad-Sharifey School for Eritrean Refugees, in Eastern Sudan. This classroom will bear her name and stand as a lasting source of benefit, supporting Eritrean refugees through access to education.
