Canadian Eritrean Youth Development (CEYD) supports Eritrean youth in Canada through programs that promote personal growth, educational success, career development, and community connection.
Our youth programs are youth-led, community-driven, and designed to meet young people where they are.
Educational Workshops & Seminars
Throughout the year, CEYD delivers educational workshops and seminars focused on topics such as:
- Navigating the education system
- Mental health and wellbeing
- Financial literacy and life skills
- Identity, relationships, and personal growth
Sessions are interactive, practical, and responsive to community needs.
Career Development & Networking
CEYD organizes career panels, networking events, and professional discussions that introduce youth to diverse career pathways and connect them with professionals across sectors such as healthcare, technology, business, and public service.
These initiatives help youth explore options, ask questions, and build meaningful connections.
Mentorship Program
Mentorship is a core part of CEYD’s youth work. Through one-to-one and group mentorship, youth receive guidance, encouragement, and support from mentors who share lived experiences and a commitment to giving back.
Mentorship supports youth as they navigate education, career planning, and personal development.
Youth Leadership Opportunities
CEYD offers youth opportunities to build leadership and professional skills by participating in program planning, event delivery, and community initiatives.
