This coordinator role will facilitate and support the planning, delivery, and evaluation of summer program activities for CEYD. The coordinator will work alongside our team of volunteers to perform a needs assessment to determine which summer programs CEYD needs to deliver and lead in implementing those programs. This portfolio of activities will include recreational, educational, social, and life skills-building activities geared towards black youth aged 15 – 25 years old from the community that CEYD serves.

The coordinator will lend their expertise to perform the following duties:

● Support the successful implementation of programs for the black youth that CEYD serves.

● Collaborate with CEYD’s leadership team to engage new and existing partners and stakeholders to enhance program delivery.

● Work with our marketing and IT team to keep our website, social media, and digital platform up to date with the latest announcements from the CEYD team.

● Provide logistical and administrative support for our programs.

● Keep track of the inventory of materials, supplies, and Internet-enabled devices that CEYD uses for its program delivery.

● Support the communications efforts with the community, stakeholders, and partners we work with.

Qualifications

Open to youth ages 15 – 25 years old
